Those are three great Corvettes... I have the silver and blue ones (and many other Corvette castings), but I have never seen that beautiful red C1 race car.
You should cross-post this over to Live and Let DieCast, the local hot wheels and model car forum. http://liveandletdiecast.kinja.com

I JUST realized watching LeMans this weekend that the eyes in the skull of the corvette Racing logo are the corvette flags... And that c7.r looks so good!

Hot Wheels made a C7.R! I scour the toy sections every time I'm in a store. Haven't found it yet.

I can pick one up for you if I see another one. I have two myself, one that will remain ‘stock,’ and one on which I will attempt a fix for the upsloped chin HW put on it for track use. Any ideas for a custom paint scheme/livery?

I was hoping they would run a tweaked livery at Le Mans since it was the second year for that machine but no such luck. Could always do a throwback to the 1960 cars with the Cunningham stripes.

The SR-2 is a great casting. It’s not super common, but prices are reasonable on eBay. I wanna say I paid somewhere around $5 for mine loose. IIRC, I was working the combined shipping. I personally still wanna find a silver Stingray concept (got one or two other colors, but is just looks so good in silver).

You know what’s nuts? I actually saw and touched two out of these three in 1:1 scale this last weekend at IMS.
Okay, it wasn’t the Sebring racer, but it was arguably better.
And they actually drove it around the oval, albeit slowly. But Grand Sport #5 actually raced on the road course.

The SS is pretty cool. It was an evolution of the SR2.
